We have been taking our fur babies to the AC Pet Hotel for years. I cannot say enough about the love and care given to them by Jackie, Joanie, Michael and the rest of the staff.
We just returned from a cruise and we had left our 5 month old wired haired dachshund with them. Our baby is a wild child with a ton of energy. We received photos every day and they worked their magic with her while we were away. She got a lot of attention and socializing with the staff and other dogs. It has made such a difference in her behavior.
It is such a relief to know that we can go away with peace of mind and not have to worry about our new fur baby.
Thank you to everyone at the AC Pet Hotel for taking such amazing care of our little Sophie.

My pup absolutely loved this place! I could not believe it when I walked in the door to take him home, he did not want to leave! He was so happy and having such a great time. We came from NYC and I brought my puppy here for two nights. I stopped by after the first night to visit him. He was very happy and didn't seem distraught in any way (which he usually is when I've left him with other places). When we wanted him back, we just called and they came (which was cheaper and easier than taking a cab/ getting our car out of valet) to drop him off. He smelled great and was completely exhausted. I've only seen him like this after several trips to puppy park and a long walk. Also, I have a Chinese crested hairy hairless so skin problems tend to be an issue and he came back with great coat.
When I was visiting him, I had a chance to meet the owner who was basically onsite (across the street in a neighborhood) and she showed me extra room they had to play in a big grassy yard. You could tell everyone there loves dogs and liked spending time with the dogs. I spoke to one guy (can't remember his name but he had a cocker spaniel) at length and he was such a nice guy and I felt complete at ease leaving him after the visit.
I will definitely use this place again when we come back. I wish I had checked this place out earlier when we were here every weekend over summer! As I'm writing this, the little guy is passed out. I'm glad he got to socialize with other doggies than just sit with me in the room.

Best place ever ! They love your pets and are trustworthy. We bring Captain Jack our Very spoiled yorkie when we frequent the casinos in AC.
Jackie the owner is super sweet and Joanie babies my pup like its her own. He's always happy when we pick him up and well cared for.
I've left him for 10 days when we went on vacation and I live 3 hours away to drop him off !
Rates are fair as I think $30 a day depending on size of dog $25 for a bath after two days of stay.

I had never left my dog at any facility in the 3 years since I rescued him. I actually had booked him with me in my hotel room while I was to be in AC on business. I needed a day care facility for him and when I went searching, I found AC Pet Hotel online and stopped by to check it out. The staff was immediately welcoming and friendly, and when they weren't put off or frightened by my 98 lb pitbull mix, I knew this would be the place to leave him. The very first thing that put me at ease was the request for all my dogs shots, I knew my Jack wouldn't walk out of there with kennel cough or some weird thing. I was tentative leaving him, because he's my baby! and I called them quite a few times throughout the day, each time they were pleasant and gave me a report.
Jackie & her staff took such wonderful care of my Jack! They listened to my instructions, they understood the breed and worked with his fear. When I pulled up to pick him up, I saw him playing with Rich (one of the handlers) and saw how happy he was, I decided to leave him overnight.
Jack had such a wonderful experience, he was of course happy and excited to go home the next day, but his reaction to the staff and his happy face, wagging tail and relaxed posture alone told me he was well taken care of & how great a place AC Pet Hotel is.
Next time I go on vacation, it is definitely worth the drive to AC to leave Jack, knowing he will be happy, well taken care of and loved.

I've been bringing my fur babies for grooming for a few of years now. So this review is long overdue. First of all, you can feel the caring and love from Jackie, Scott, Michael, and Bonay. These folks really love what they do. They treat your babies just like their own; they are kind, caring and very attentive. I feel very comfortable leaving my four dogs, even my 20-year-old Doxie in their care.
I highly recommend this very loving place whether you need to board for a few hours a night or more your babies will be cared for with love. They're given four walks a day and bottled water, plenty of attention and affection.
I love the way Bonay styles my Lulus' hair; she's the only groomer that gives me exactly what I describe. As a hairdresser for humans, it makes me very happy that she gets me. I'm probably the only person that ever asked for bellbottoms as a style for her dog's legs and paws.
Scott and Jackie make sure that all dogs who enter are up-to-date on vaccines and in good health. The place is kept very clean, and it's very inviting.
I just have to say one more thing on a personal level that Jackie and Scott have very big hearts, I know they have been there to help a client (my neighbor) in need who was unable to care for his dogs for about a year due to a severe injury and long recovery. They took care of these two dogs just like they were there own children. They opened their home and hearts. I'm so glad that I have met them and have recommended them to many people. Finding The Atlantic City Pet Hotel and groomer was a stroke of good luck , after a very bad experience with a nasty groomer in Margate. I'm looking forward to bringing my Lulu this Saturday for her Bellbottom hairstyle!

We stayed in a wonderful pet-friendly hotel. However, our beloved Brooklyn (Maltese) did not want to be left alone. So, we found the Atlantic City Pet Hotel! They received the fax from our vet to verify that Brooklyn's shots were up to date (very important). ...They provided EXCELLENT customer service! They were very pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in all of the dogs! They graciously answered all of our questions and gave a detailed account of how our fur baby would spend her day. We felt very comfortable leaving her in such good hands. We picked Brooklyn up a few hours later (Doggie Day Camp) and she was happy as a lark! She made new friends & was well cared for. If we return to Atlantic City, Brooklyn will definitely visit her new extended family at the Atlantic City Pet Hotel! |

Needed to find a place to put my Boston Terrier for a weekend girls trip to Atlantic City. Met with very nice folks for scheduling and when I dropped him off, he immediately took to the staff, and I had no worries. My Boston is elder and he does have a leg issue, they did well in making sure he was active but making sure steps were avoided and much love given. I picked him up, and he was beautifully bathed with a scarf on, and he was tuckered out! Which was great! He slept peacefully for the whole trip back to Philadelphia. The area it is located in is residential and very easy to navigate to and within minutes to all the hotels at AC. The only reason I didn't give a five star is his bedding was very ripe and stunk up the car; it would be nice if perhaps they cleaned it, but I know not all places have the means to do this. Next time, I will just leave the bedding at home and let him cozy down with what they provide which is just as nice. Thank AC Pet Hotel, we will see you again soon. |

I use them all the time. I don't know how much they charge because they were always watching two of my dogs, so I got a discount with two. But my other little dog died on Monday. They are going to be taking care of him for 10 days. They are amazing, which is why I use them. The best thing about them is that they really care about their little fur charges! |

First and foremost, I'm a regular dog owner I inherited my dog "Mimi', from my father after he became sick and then passed away. I used the facility for the first time three years ago when my father, I and Mimi came up from Florida for one day at the Tropicana where we stayed; they didn't accept dogs, we flue in though Atlantic City Airport before the two hour trip back to Old Bridge, NJ. This time around I had made plans to travel to AC, and the family booked a flight to Puerto Rico and no one to stay with the darn Dog! So I said to myself I'll leave Mimi at the same place she stayed before the "Atlantic City Pet Hotel" this time three days and two nights. I reviewed their website and spoke to the owner Scott; I was amazed how much these people love animals. They walk the dogs 4 times a day bottle water YES, not a typo BOTTLE WATER for a Dog and they even gave her some antibiotics pills she needs to take twice a day at no extra charge. After two days they have a mandatory bath for the dog, I said to myself this is going to cost me. Nope, just $25 for the bath and even cut her nails; the pet hotel has video surveillance. and the pet hotel they call it ROOMS have pictures hanging for the dogs, WOW...must admit my dog is a little scared of strangers but at this place she seemed like she wanted to stay. Great place for your pet. Mimi smelled clean and fresh when I picked her up. If she could talk, I guess she would give it a good review too. |

Let me begin by saying I strongly recommend the Atlantic City Pet Hotel and grooming to all you pet lovers! Before I found the Pet Hotel, I used to dread vacations, but now I look forward to them. I am taking an 8-day cruise from Port Liberty. My sister and I will drive 1 ½ hours to bring our 3 dogs to the AC Pet Hotel first. I now have peace of mind knowing my babies are being taken care of and given lots of attention by their highly qualified staff. I call the Pet Hotel my dog’s home away from home. My dogs are happy to run into the Pet Hotel, when we arrive. In addition, I have a special needs dog who receives love and medical attention, that far exceeds my expectations. Central Islip, NY I had to be in Atlantic City for a convention. My dog sitter was unavailable, so I brought Max to the Pet Hotel. I toured the entire facility and was very satisfied. The staff was professional and extremely friendly. The facility is very clean and odor free. The sleeping accommodations were large, clean, secure and temperature controlled. I was able to visit Max each day after my meetings. Max loved the four walks a day and all of the playtime. I had him groomed, and they did a wonderful job and was much less expensive than my regular groomer charges. Max will be back for grooming and whenever I travel. Knowing Max is safe and happy takes priority. I wish they were closer to my home but definitely worth the long trip.

I called here the same day I needed a place for my dog, and they were able to accommodate me during the holiday weekend, which I honestly wasn't expecting!
Check-in was quick and thorough; they made sure my dog was up-to-date on vaccinations, had me write down his routine, and took some time to get to know him before I left.
The owners live upstairs which was comforting, I was worried about the area not being 100% secure, and that eased my worries for sure.
They also do grooming, which I will def utilize the next time my dog stays there. You really can't beat the price, and the staff was very friendly, I really felt comfortable leaving my baby there for the night! |

I came to post a positive review and am surprised about some of the negativity posted here.
It is often said that if people have a good experience, they tell a friend and if they have a bad experience (or perhaps one that was not necessarily bad, but not to their liking), they'll "tell the world." I am afraid that is the case here because I have used AC Pet Hotel several times this past year and I've always been pleased!
With a two night stay and advance pickup arrangements, your pet is bathed before leaving, so perhaps those complaining did not call ahead! Brandi, their assistant, and groomer is VERY caring and does an excellent job!
I am very active in animal rescue and would not leave my dogs just anywhere. True, you are not pulling into the Revel, but it's the care inside that matters most! My dogs LOVE going there. Their accommodations are spacious and the dogs ARE walked multiple times daily as I have one fear-aggressive dog and Brandi placed special attention on her and even sent me photos of her progress from several walks throughout day one of her first visit, including pics of belly rubs from a dog who typically lets NO ONE but me near her belly!
Perhaps some people like to spread the word when they are not happy, but NO business is perfect. In my opinion, as a local rescue advocate and on-air radio host, I am proud to recommend AC Pet Hotel to my friends and listeners on the radio. Scott and staff run a fine establishment. They live ON the premises and go above, and beyond any corporate-run facility, I have experienced! They've even adopted some dogs who were abandoned after Hurricane Sandy, and their true love of animals may come off as eccentric to some, but I'd take an experienced dog lover any day to watch my dog over a corporate entity only worried about the bottom line!
AC Pet Hotel is tops in my book! Great care, loving, reliable, convenient and responsible. What more could you ask for?

I recently had to go to Atlantic City to handle some family business and needed a place for my cat while I was there. I found AC Pet Hotel online and decided to give them a try. When I got there, they showed me where my precious kitty would be staying. I walked into a kitty paradise, it was a huge room with things to climb on and in the cats could have free run of the room if they wanted or just lounge in there own condo. I knew my Maggie would be very happy. I was very pleased with AC Pet Hotel and next time I have to go away I know where Maggie will be staying. WOW! WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRIZE to find such a wonderful pet facility! We have never boarded our dogs before. We always take them wherever we go, or have a family member watch them. Our girls are very attached and don't like to be away from my husband and I. We took them to the Atlantic City Pet Motel, and they loved it. They received lots of attention, their accommodations were large airy and clean, and they made lots of new friends. The owners and staff seemed to treat all of the pets like family. When I picked them up, they were clean, brushed and had adorable kerchiefs with pictures of puppies around their necks. Their beds and blankets were returned laundered and fresh. Most of all my 2 babies were very happy staying at the Pet Motel. We will be back. We highly recommend them.

I want to give Kudos to the AC Pet Hotel for taking such good care of my four dachshunds. When I take them there, I never have to worry as I know that they are taken care of and treated with such love. They are in good hands with the owners, who really take great pride in caring for and about the dogs that are boarded there. They receive their multiple daily walks and are fused over by their staff .They always get excited when we pull up to see Scot and the staff. The facility is kept clean, and they are strict about adhering to making sure that all the pets that are boarded there are up on their inoculations. We took our 5-pound Chihuahua to the Pet Hotel after several phone calls to speak with the owner Scott. Our dog has high anxiety and has abandonment issues. we are her fourth owner. I was impressed with Scott's introduction and the play area in the front, our dog was introduced to their chihuahua, and to my surprise, they hit it off!
Although we were not prepared to stay the 2 days that we did, we felt so comfortable with the pet hotelthat we decided to try a night and see how she did. Our dog did fantastic and didn't even need her anxiety medication. Moreover, she still had her voice the next day. which was , a clear indication that she had a good time and didn't feel threatened enough to bark a lot. that's what happened at the last pet hotel that we left her at.
on the second day, we checked her out and enjoyed time with her at the doggy beach. she returned ready for dinner and to settle in for the evening with her new friend Tina.
I would not feel comfortable leaving her with anyone else for a period of time. in fact, we live in Delaware and have plans to leave the country soon. we are driving our dog to Atlantic City NJ prior to leaving; we know that she will be safe, loved and cared for.

I wish I could stay here! I love to come to Atlantic City and now so does my Spanky. I live in Brooklyn, NY and have access to the best pet hotels in the world. Spanky and I would rate this one up there with the best. He gets so excited when we pull up that he jumps out of the car as soon as I open the door and races up to the pet hotel door and starts to jump up to the window so they can see him and let him in. He and all the dogs get special, one on one attention. If your pet has special medical needs, the staff will take care of that. If your pet is on a special diet, the staff will take care of that. they get walked a minimum of 4 times a day - usually more- including at 10pm. they leave out toys for the dogs and play with them. No dog ever leaves there dirty. The place is inspected by the proper authorities, and they pass 100% every time. I have watched and know that the staff and owners are kind, patient, caring people and would never do anything that could possibly hurt an animal. they are always cleaning up because "dogs will be dogs" and Scott and the staff never get angry or yell at the dogs. The Only Facility I trust to take care of my 2 boxers My boxers are like my children, and I want only the best for them. Both are very active and need lots of attention.
The pet hotel provides them with everything I give them at home and more. They love their long walks, lots of play time, and the love and attention they get from the wonderful, caring staff. They especially love playing with other dogs that are the same size and temperament.
When I tell them they are going to the pet hotel in Atlantic City, they race to the car. As soon as we arrive, they are jumping out the door and running into the front door of what has become their second home. There is another family with 2 boxers that go there frequently as well. If they are not staying on the same dates, one of the staff members calls their family, and they bring the (2) boxers from Margate for doggy daycare so they can play with my guys.
What a wonderfully clean, safe and happy place for my boys to enjoy. I also love the fact that I can take them out during the day when we start to miss them. |

Just had our Pom and Lab at the Pet Hotel in Atlantic City for 7 nights with a full grooming. They had a great time and did not want to leave. Their groomers did a fabulous job. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. The facility was very clean, and the sleep areas were large and comfortable. We will be bringing out pets back to the Atlantic City Pet Hotel next month when we take a 7 night Caribbean cruise. It is a big relief to know we can travel with confidence knowing our boys are getting the best care.

I have 2 dogs that are very spoiled and require much attention. When I decided to take a vacation and leave my babies, I was very careful in selecting accommodations. When I found the Atlantic City Pet Hotel, I was so happy. The staff was so wonderful and the place was immaculate. The gentleman, Scott was super friendly, and the staff couldn't be nicer. The areas where the dogs are kept were so clean and fresh; I had no trouble leaving Bruiser and Harley there. I missed them terribly but knew they were in good hands. My dog Honeydew, (Honey for short) was a Hurricane Katrina dog and has abandonment issues. My family has been homeless since Hurricane Sandy on October 29, 2012. My two-story home was destroyed in the storm and deemed uninhabitable. I have had to stay in three different locations while my home is being rebuilt and I was unable to take Honey with me. I thank God for the Atlantic City Pet Hotel, who has been taking unbelievably special care of my Honey. The owners and staff have kept her safe and happy and give her round the clock attention. The Pet Hotel is kept very clean and organized. The two things that are keeping me sane while my home is being rebuilt are my career as an accountant and being able to see Honey every day. I couldn't have picked a better place. Honey is thriving and has become more social with other dogs. It's important for her not to feel neglected or abandoned because of her experience with Hurricane Katrina. I also want to say that when Atlantic City was evacuated, after all the visiting pets were picked up the owners of the Pet Hotel took the 12 local dogs, including Honey, five cats and their own three dogs to a safe place during the storm. They even rescued a few dogs and cats that their owners could not get to. Words can't express the wonderful care and love given by the owners and staff of the Pet Hotel. They really did treat Honey as if she were their own. |

I can't thank the pet hotel owner and staff enough for their services in my time of need. Due to a fire, I was in the process of relocating and needed a safe, efficient and caring environment for my Doberman to stay for a few months. In comparison to other pet hotels none provided the one on one attention, I was seeking except for the Atlantic City Pet Hotel. I have a shy 100 lb Dobie who was not used to being in a heavily populated area of dogs. The pet hotel met her needs with individual walks, one on one with the staff, and her own very large sleep area. I was at peace knowing my dog was being treated like a queen, being able to visit her daily, take her on outings between visitation hours, and bring her as many snacks and toys as I pleased. They always gave her clean large beds and blankets to play and sleep on. The pet hotel has many staff members that would bring her new toys, and give her individual attention and playtime in addition to the several play times a day offered free of charge by the pet hotel. Her accommodations were always neat and clean, and so was the large yard she was able to play in. What more could I ask for? My fear of putting her in temporary placement was alleviated. KUDOS TO THE AC PET HOTEL
The AC Pet Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood on a side street less than two miles from the AC Casinos. We have been boarding our fur children (four dachshunds and one cat) at the AC Pet Hotel on a regular basis over the past several years while traveling and on an as-needed basis after being referred to them by a friend.
Our dogs are always greeted with enthusiasm, affection and fussed over. We never worry about their safety and care because the Owners run a professional service with the help of full-time support staff. One of the services provided is dog walking, which our dogs always get excited over. When we return, our fur children are always happy, and they continue to play while we get a full report on the care they received in our absence.
I have been in the back rooms many times, and it is kept very clean. The staff has been trained to not only care for the dogs, but they play with them as well. Any accidents are cleaned up immediately. No animal is permitted to stay unless they are up on their shots and the well being of all the animals at the Pet Hotel always comes first.
I would highly recommend the Pet Hotel to anyone looking to board their dog or cat, who are looking for peace of mind while away. Kudos to the AC Pet Hotel.

I've meant to post this ever since Hurricane Irene. I'm a local and use AC Pet Hotel for doggie daycare, grooming, and boarding when I'm away. My dog loves it there! I happened to be away when the area was evacuated for the hurricane. Of course, I was nervous, but I knew the owners, managers, and staff would take care of Scooter as if he were their own dog. I spoke with and/or got voicemails from Scott once or twice a day during the whole ordeal and got a running account of their evacuation adventure! My dog came home very happy, and when we went recently for grooming, he was as happy as ever when we pulled up. Great place and great people! |

I live in Brooklyn, NY where I have access to every kind of service for pets, and yet, when I go on vacation I take my special, precious little dog, Spanky, to the Atlantic City Pet Hotel and Grooming. I have been going there for 6 years. Whether it's overnight because I making a little visit to Atlantic City or taking a 3-week vacation, I know that my Spanky will be safe and loved. The entire staff is kind and loving and treats each pet as if it were his/her own. They do more than just the needed or necessary. They go beyond just care. They take each individual pet and see to its needs. Whether it's some extra attention, hugs, medication, feeding - they see to it that your pet receives the best of care. I know. I've been to the places that provide the warehousing. This place is different.

I have been a repeat client of The Atlantic City Pet Hotel for a few years, and I can't say enough positive things.
The owners are two caring people whom my dog Pumpkin loves to be with.I have left Pumpkin for a two-week stay, and when I went to pick her up, she was so calm and content, that I felt neglected.
Really, my wife and I feel very comfortable with the entire facility and staff.
Boonie the groomer is great, and Pumpkin is happy to be groomed. When she visits the Hotel, she not caged in and left to walk around. This is great.

We rent mobility scooters to the hotels and casinos in Atlantic City. Believe it or not, we have clients that ask about sidecars for their dogs. Yes, sidecars for dogs, LOL. We inform them that we do not provide that service because the casinos do not allow pets on the premises. So, we recommend the AC Pet Hotel and the response has been overwhelming. The people that run the hotel really care about what they do. If you are going to go to Atlantic City, don't leave your pet a home all alone. Drop them off here for a vacation of their own! |
